In this original painting Charlotte is inspired by colour theory and the coastal landscapes of the Victorian Peninsula, interpreting forms from nature (rainbow arcs, rock formations, seaside horizons, rising tides etc) in her distinctive hard-edged style. This painting continues her fascination with layering and juxtaposing vivid colour, experimenting with ideas of transparency and solidity to evoke a sense of joy, light and equilibrium.
