Blooming Female is a piece inspired by young girls transitioning into womanhood. As a proud Mayi woman from North Western Queensland, I want to share my love of art and my interpretation of the empowerment of my people. The pink represents the feminine side of females. The different layers symbolize the young lady growing and developing her own identity. I want to share this piece with love and harmony.
