Indigenous Female Journey is inspired by the experiences of Indigenous women. As a proud Mayi woman from North Western Queensland, I want to share my love of art and my interpretation of female empowerment. The pink represents femininity, while the mountains symbolize the challenges we face as women in this world. The waterholes and paths represent our resting places along life's journey. Each large circle depicts significant moments that define us as strong women. Women are strong and powerful and should not be confined by society's expectations.
